Our next show will take place on the 2nd October at the Cafe Lorenz Süd in Münster. Please be there in time cause there are 5 bands playing. First band will start at 7pm. Don`t worry about weekday cause the following monday is holiday.

Update

Here we go, finally our demo 7" is released through a couple of lovely diy-labels. Thanks to everybody involved making this release happen. If you would like to order a copy feel free to drop us a line to blackeverest(at)web.de . Postage for all around the world is 3,50€ and for Germany 1,50€. The record itself is offered for 2€. Yes that is cheap, but we are happy if we can spread our music and make it available for less money. If you don't have a recordplayer we invite you to download the entire demo for free right here:

Beside this we nearly finished our recordings for the split LP with our dutch friends in "Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking". There will be a DVD added to each copy including two videoclips which are deposited with one track by each band. So no fancy bandvideo, furthermore an artvideo. We'll keep you updated about that.

The next show we are going to play will take place on the 2nd October at the Cafe Lorenz Süd in Münster, there is also a show planed for Helloween in Hamburg. More infos soon...

We had wonderfull days at the Cry Me A River Fest as well as Loss Of Breath Fest. Thanks to everybody involved in making these day possible. Playing such Locations and Shows means a lot to us.

Up next we will start recording the Songs for our split LP with Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking. As always we will handle the complete recordingprocess on our own and hope to get this record done by the end of this year.

Upcoming Shows

Summer is getting closer and we are happy to play this years Cry Me A River Fest as well as Loss Of Breath Fest which will take place in this year for the first time. Seems like we'll have our first recordings released for these dates. These tunes will be available for the first time as a 7" which contains 5 songs. Can't wait to get our hands on this piece of vinyl.

Split LP with Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking

Yep, this July we will start recording four songs for a split LP with our dutch friends in Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking. Some common Shows as well as a Recordreleaseparty should follow and nearer informations will be posted here.

Demo 7inch Vinyl

After months of delays and countless hours of work & travel we are finally at the point to announce that we are going to release our very first recordings. After the idea of put out these 5 songs as a tapeversion, we decided to to switch the format and choose the 7inch-vinyl.
The record shall be ready till this years Cry Me A River Fest, where we'll play at first on the second day of the fest.
The vinyl will be released in a coproducing by some close and friendly diy-labels, more infos will follow soon. We are happy to get these songs finally released.

Who We Are

Black Everest is a four piece band from Berlin, Hamburg and Oldenburg. As you can imagine there are a lot of miles between us. What always gets us back together in one room is our friendship and the shared love & passion for handmade music. You can say the friendship is the engine, the music the gasoline.
We are happy to be part of the diy-community and think that no other space would make sense to place this band. Beside the goals to keep our friendship alive and making music together, we are focused on meeting people, collecting memories of magic moments, seeing places we've never been before and escaping the everyday life.
Our lyrics deal with our view of politics, friendship and social issues. We avoid to describe how we sound like, this should still be up to the listener.
